Group Supported Employment

GSE supports individuals in developing valuable skills and pursuing meaningful work experiences across a range of opportunities. These include collaborations with Coleman Assembly & Packaging, service roles at Franklin Pierce University's dining hall, participation in GAAMHA Cleaning Crews, and clerical positions. Our dedicated Job Trainers foster essential teamwork, communication, and productive work habits within these supportive settings. This empowers individuals to build confidence and acquire the skills needed for successful employment and full engagement in their communities.

Individual Supported Employment

Our Employment Specialists empower individuals to pursue meaningful work in their communities. We support each person in exploring their interests, building job readiness skills, crafting resumes, and navigating the job search process. From completing applications and preparing for interviews to onboarding and on-the-job training, our team is there every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition into employment and long-term success.

Transportation

To us, it’s all about people.

Our commitment to person-centered, dignified service extends far beyond our walls. Every day, our Transportation team prioritizes creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive experience for every individual we serve - because every journey matters.

Dedicated Drivers

GAAMHA drivers are thoughtfully selected and trained to provide safe, respectful, and reliable service. Each team member completes comprehensive training, including CPR and First Aid, Defensive Driving, Wheelchair Securement, HIPAA compliance, and more - ensuring every rider is cared for with skill and dignity.

Vehicle Fleet

GAAMHA operates a modern fleet of over 40 fully accessible vans and shuttles, designed with comfort, safety, and reliability in mind. Each vehicle is air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible, and equipped with GPS and audio-enabled cameras to ensure every ride is safe, timely, and respectful of our passengers’ needs.

Destinations

We go where you go. Our services provide transport to work, shopping centers, airports, appointments, recreational activities, and other special occasions. We provide services seven days a week, 24 hours a day to meet your travel/scheduling needs.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

We provide non-emergency medical transportation for individuals who need more than a standard car, bus, taxi, or ride share. Select private and public insurance plans are accepted.

Schedule in Advance

Our transportation services differ from a traditional taxi or ride-sharing service. Please contact us in advance of your trip to discuss your personal transportation requirements, obtain a quote, and schedule your ride.
