GAAMHA’s Transitional Supportive Housing Program operates sober, supportive housing programs for men and women.
These homes are ideally suited for those who have completed a residential treatment program and are seeking to take the next step toward their return to independent living. Supportive Housing provides the individual the opportunity to further develop their program of recovery while learning how to balance the concerns of everyday life such as work, family, a social life, financial and personal responsibilities. The transition from treatment to independent living or a return home can be a difficult one. Supportive Housing gives the individual more freedom and privileges while providing a level of structure and accountability that facilitates growth and recovery.
Unlike traditional sober living, our agency provides full Case Management services to our residents to ensure that they receive the support they need to sustain their recovery. Our Supportive Housing Case Management program is funded through a contract with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, ensuring that our facilities and staff provide the highest quality of care to the individuals we serve and that our agency has a level of professionalism, oversight and accountability not found in traditional sober living operations.
With 3 homes in Gardner and 2 in Greenfield, contact us to see which of these warm and caring homes might be the best fit for you or your loved one.
