As a next step for those who wish to live independently but want to do so in a building and an environment that promotes safety and sobriety, GAAMHA offers our Permanent Supportive Housing Program.

permanent supportive housing

These partially furnished apartments are ideal for people who have completed residential treatment and established a solid foundation of recovery and wish to transition into independent living. Our tenants are able to live and work independently, manage their own lives and relationships, while remaining in a supportive environment conducive to their continued long-term recovery. All tenants receive support and case management services from GAAMHA. Our Supportive Housing Case Management program is funded through a contract with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, ensuring that our facilities and staff provide the highest quality of care to the individuals we serve and that our agency has a level of professionalism, oversight and accountability not found in traditional sober living operations.

GAAMHA’s apartment complex is conveniently located in downtown Gardner, MA and offers 12 studio apartments in an access-controlled building with easy access to public transportation and shopping/restaurants/services.
